The Cast Iron in my Personal Collection
I started collecting cast iron cookware about 6 years ago. I had just repatriated from The Philippines and starting fresh in my native country.
Below is the growing list of cast iron cookware I have passionately accumulated over the past 6 years.

Lodge Cast Iron Skillet with Red Silicone Hot Handle Holder, 12-inch
This is the most used cast iron skillet in my collection. And I would venture to say that is the case with most collectors of Lodge Cast Iron.
Within 2 months, the rough, pebbly surface was smooth as a baby’s bottom. And it just gets better the more I use it.
Lodge 15 Inch Cast Iron Pre-Seasoned Skillet – Signature Teardrop Handle
Cast iron can handle any kitchen cooktop, oven, grill and open flame. Crafted in America with iron and oil, its naturally seasoned cooking surface creates an easy-release and improves with use.
Lodge 10.25 Inch Cast Iron Pre-Seasoned Skillet – Signature Teardrop Handle
This is the first skillet I bought. I use this one almost as much as the 12 inch. It’s great for searing a ribeye or New York strip. It’s great for grilling up a grilled cheese sandwich!
I recently bought a special stamped edition with a wolf stamped on the bottom. Cool man!
Lodge Wildlife Series – 8 Inch Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet with Duck Scene
So, I bought the 8 inch Duck Series for my cast iron collection. I don’t use it much, but when I do, it’s for cooking up some fresh veggies in butter and garlic. Once in a while I’ll whip up some cornbread batter and make me a single serving of cast iron cornbread.
Lodge Pre-Seasoned 2-in-1 Cast Iron Combo Cooker – 3.2 Quart Deep Pot Cooker + 10.25 Inch Frying Pan
Oh the kitchen joy this Lodge Combo Cooker has bestowed upon my culinary dudeness. This has to be one of my most essential pieces of cast iron in my collection.
From deep frying chicken, to searing steaks, to baking an artisan sourdough loaf, this is obviously the most versatile cast iron in my collection. The Lodge Combo Cooker is priced under $60 and that is cheap considering all it can do. The only other element you need in survival is fire if you brought this marvel! You can cook anything!
Lodge 6 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Lid – Dual Handles – Oven Safe up to 500° F or on Stovetop
What a stunning vision this will be in any kitchen. I bought this in 2022 and I have made countless loaves of bread, spaghetti sauce from scratch, soups, and more. I absolutely love my enamelled dutch oven by Lodge!

Lodge Cast Iron Square Grill Pan, Pre-Seasoned, 10.5-inch
My least used cast iron skillet. Grill marks are pretty, but I want my whole steak crusted. I suppose it works better for chicken.
Now why didn’t I think of that before I just wrote that???
